Thank you so much for the wonderful spiral stairs!!! It was easy to figure out the correct way to construct the treads on the steps. The overall quality is good. We do question if the stair railing is powder coated as it is already peeling paint. The platform, posts and steps do appear to be powder coated. We did run out of screws for the stairs. The finished product is beautiful and works great for our woodsy backyard !! Thank you so much!! We love it!!

Our stairs look amazing! My wife and I installed the staircase, it was a long tedious process with all of the connections for the horizontal railing but so worth it, the railing looks class A-1. The only criticism I would give it it seemed once these stairs were ordered I did feel like I was on my own. I had some questions on the weekend but did not get a response, however I was able to figure things out. I also needed the instructions for the safety gate that did not come with the package but the guy was very quick to send those via email, however I did advise him that i needed just a few extra parts and had the end caps in the wrong color but did not hear back. I was going to call back today and just coincidence saw your email for the survey.Overall I would buy your stairs if I had to do it over again, Vince was great and the stairs have gotten so many compliments, they are beautiful.

We love our stairs. It took a while to get them. We originally quoted 9 weeks and they showed up at 12 weeks, but all that is fine because they're great quality and look awesome. Scott was great to work with and kept in touch along the process. Very sturdy. We went with a 5' wide diameter stairs, black powder aluminum stairs that will last forever. Thanks!

My custom order steel spiral stair are of a very high quality grade steel. That assessment came from the mechanic that worked with me installing them. They are solid! and even more impressive in person. Minor issues, I was missing a bag of set screws, and one of the steps the holes were't tapped out with threads. I would recommend at every point there is a hole drilled into the steel..and there's a lot of drilling for those balusters.. you take the time to use the provided touch up paint to cover exposed steel as best you can or you will get minor rust bleed. You don't want rust forming under the powder coat. I also krylon painted the center pole that is covered for the most part..but I assume could start to rust and bleed rust all the down to the base. I may regret not going all aluminim to save money, only time will tell. I'm going to have to say it's an advanced job for DIY project. My friend that's an auto mechanic had some power tools that made it manageable. I recommend a good cutter to make quick work of the balusters that need cut to fit based on the hand rail. It took two of us three days to complete. The provided hand rail is aluminum, and it comes coiled. It's a real bear hand bending it into position. You have to work that hand rail and screw it to 1/3 of the balusters that you install prior. As you work the hand rail (from the middle outward), the leveled balusters get knocked off level, so you have to re-align and make sure balusters are vertical before attaching to the hand rail one by one. This was tough for two guys, and we had to use brute force to make that hand rail malleable. The other 2/3rds provided balusters need cut to fit according to the handrail position. This was the most time-consuming part of the insulation. We do love the result, and like I mentioned this thing is solid.

Edit: I was contacted by Mike Taylor who promptly resolved this issue to my satisfaction. He also told me that Chris had been let go due to conduct, so going forward I could work directly with Mike. —————————original post: I ordered a double flight of spiral stairs and submitted the plan details to the city. The city did not approve the double, but only approved a single flight. I was told in advance by the sales rep Chris that if the city were not to approve the configuration then we could definitely get a refund or revise the order. "As long as we're not cutting steel yet we can make changes or cancellations," he said. After hearing from the city, I contacted him numerous times to arrange the refund and revision, to no avail. I even contacted a supervisor and left a voicemail, but never heard back. I am extremely disappointed in this company, and would not trust them.

The stair kit I received was very nice but the wrong color. Paragon Stairs helped rectify the issue and my loft turned out wonderful with the spiral stairs they sold me.

I am always concerned about using a company I know nothing about and having to trust reviews, plus sales people will tell you anything to get a sale. However, the stairs came in great condition, all parts were there, were pretty easy to put up and they have been up about 3 weeks now and all is great. I have already referred Paragon to a family member.

The sales rep was great and very helpful in all aspects. The stairs were perfect and the installation was pretty straight forward. The only complaints that I have is the quality of workmanship and QC for the hand rails that go around the stair well. We had to reorder due to bad welds and paint. When the new railing arrived it had the same issues that the first ones did. I have been waiting two days for a response from customer service but have not heard anything yet. The only other thing was some of the instructions were not included in the package and customer service was not able to find or help with this. We had to improvise to complete the job. That said I would still recommend Paragon.

Stairs were well made and easy enough to install. Most difficult part of the installation was having to hand bend the railing. I wish the railing was preformed sections. Having to hand bend a 1.25 aluminum continuous tube without kinking or distorting it isn't easy. Would recommend overall though.

I haven't installed my stairs yet so I can't comment on the actual product but the rest of the processes was handled very well by Paragon. The sales rep was great. I needed assistance figuring out exactly how the stairs would spiral as I have obstacles I need to avoid. The hand off to procurement and shipping went smoothly all the way through my receipt of the stairs. Great job so far.

I purchased some Paragon Stairs to replace a rather unsafe ladder that was used to access a sleeping loft in a second home. I would preface this review with the fact that I purchased with cost in mind and from the bottom of the price scale. The ordering process was easy, I had an in person customer representative answer my questions in less than a day and they walked me through the various benefits and limitations of the stairs I purchased. The delivery was delayed slightly due to weather, but promptly rescheduled. I recommend ordering the tailgate lift option on delivery and be ready to in terms of where you are taking delivery/storing etc. as they are heavy.In terms of product, I feel that I got more than my moneys worth in terms of looks and function and was not left felling that I had been promised more than I got, which often occurs with online purchases. My contractor installed the stairs, not me and he thought the installation was "ok" in terms of ease, but he got them up in a day.Overall a great experience.

Kevin Reagan with Paragon Stairs was a huge help in making this happen for our daughter's condo. She has a loft and the spiral stairs is perfect! Great quality and great value. He took the time to listen to what we need and addressed all our questions. The only hiccup was the shipping company they use. The shipping company called the morning of the scheduled delivery and said they have to postpone delivery which was a huge inconvenience because we had already scheduled the handyman to put it together. The shipping cost was over $300 and we expected better service for that. Kevin asked their customer service to respond to my complaint but never really heard back.

I spoke with someone about the stairs that I needed, measured the hole that I had and sent pictures. The service and communication was excellent! The instructions were easy when it was time to install the stairs. The only thing I would say is that the Allen screws didn't go all the way through and I had to retap most of them.I am so happy and impressed with how the stairs came out and I do let everyone know it's Paragon.Lastly I just want to say I purchased a product and ordered it with the information given and it came out beautifully!! Thank you!!!

Very helpful with design for our project for our remote cabin, they got on a zoom call to show us on our pictures how it would work. My only complain is that when the stairs came in, it would have been nice if the instructions had a summary for what tools would be required for the whole project. I thought I had gone through the whole set of instructions to check for what tools were needed, but sure enough, when we got out there to install, we were missing an allen wrench. We were several hours from home or from any stores, so we were almost unable to complete our installation until we came up with a fix for the missing tool.

Their customer service is top notch. The stair turned out great and I love them. Not too hard to install but I would say their instructions could use some improvement. Some steps were missing or not well explained. I figured it out but I'm sure if I had called to ask, I would have gotten excellent help. I will add that I had a ton of extra screws and hardware. This was awesome as I did lose it break a few. I even had an extra center pole section. It was so much extra that I was concerned I was doing something wrong. So a quick comment in the instructions saying "you may have extra hardware" would go a long way.Also it was awesome to have a domestic option compared to the imported stuff that Home Depot sells.

We received our spiral and at first was unsure it was shipped correctly, but with a couple of phone calls we had it figured out and installed. It looks awesome and it is very sturdy and safe.
